Overview

California is undertaking a special redistricting process outside of the regular 10-year cycle. This process was prompted by special efforts to change congressional districts in Texas outside of the standard redistricting cycle.

Community participation is central to this effort. On this site, you can explore the current and newly enacted plans, submit public comments, and even draw your own proposed district maps. By contributing, you play a direct role in shaping how representation is structured for the years ahead. The official California State Assembly proposal and comment site can be found here.
